I saw this one a bit more than week ago on the NZ Conservative Coalition, and I don’t think I can say any more other than the irony (and hypocrisy) of what Venezuela’s president, Nicolas Maduro said about Trump is very clear. Enjoy!
In honor of 40 Days for Life, I have decided there hasn’t been a better time for me to start posting more reasons from my Reasons to Not Have an Abortion series. Enjoy!
#5: A reason for governments to legalize abortion that I’ve heard several times is that it will help slow down the world’s population growth. They also think that the government can establish what a good amount of children will be for families. The government does not have the authority to try to control population and tell families how many children they can support. The parents are in a better position to decide this, especially in a large country with millions or billions of people, because they know their situation more intimately. Besides, there are better ways to control population growth. For example, it is well known that people who have sought to continue their own education have fewer children because they marry later and a women’s fertility (and therefore chances of conceiving) decreases.

Several days ago, I was scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed, and I saw the following article from Live Action about how some Chilean women have decided to use the ultrasound to show the humanity of their unborn children. I thought it was really cool, so I wanted to share the article detailing what they did. Enjoy!

Perhaps it can be implied by my love of Zumba (and also because I took Spanish in high school), but I love listening to Latin/Spanish music. Ever since I started going to Zumba, I’ve discovered many awesome Spanish-speaking artists including Daddy Yankee (my favorite artist ever), Wisin and Yandel, Enrique Iglesias, and others. So, when I found the article below, I was pretty happy about what it communicated. I stumbled upon this article several days ago about Wisin of Wisin and Yandel and his stance on abortion. With spoiling too much of the story, I can say that this article allowed me to gain a new respect for him. Enjoy!
As you can probably tell if you read my About page, I love to read. If I could, I would spend quite a bit of my free time doing it. I’ve read quite a few of the popular young adult books, one such series being the Gone series by Michael Grant. They were pretty good books by my opinion, so when I saw he had a new book coming out on the series, I immediately added it to my To-Read list on Goodreads (a site for archiving and rating books you have read and marking what books you want to read). When I initially did this for his new book, I accidentally pressed the rate button instead of the button to mark it to-read on my phone. When I tried to back out of rating it, I thought I had cleared whatever accidental rating I had made and didn’t think much of it as I marked it for my to-read list. Today, I see that I get a reply on my status update for the book, and I was confused. Then, I read the comment (screenshotted below for your viewing pleasure), and I can’t lie that even though it is true that I am a Christian and I voted for Trump that (I can’t put this in other words) I was kind of annoyed and offended that the person immediately assumed those things in a derogatory way about me–immediately thinking that I had rated his newest book before it came out such as I did (I accidentally clicked one star). I decided to reply (the first draft of my reply is there), but before, I clicked on the profile to see who would make such a reply. As it turned out, it was the author Michael Grant himself! You’d think that public figures such as him would be a bit more tactful, but I guess that’s a little bit to much to hopeful. Because of his reply (he had not yet replied to my reply), I don’t think I’m very inclined to read anymore of his books. I will write an update if he ever replies.
I saw this one about a week ago on the NZ Conservative Coalition, and this article makes it clear that the problems that these movements are causing and why we must fight against them. Enjoy!
I saw this one a week ago on Cultureshift, and the hypocrisy it points out is clear cut. How can there be outrage for deportation of illegal immigrant children when abortion outright kills other children? Enjoy!
I saw this on the Aussie Conservative blog a couple of weeks ago. It provides good detail about the perhaps unintended consequences of illegal immigration amnesty and it has some of Ann Coulter’s trademark sharp wit, so I highly recommend giving it a read. Enjoy!
