A Fresh Take on Ronald Reagan

Another I found on the Aussie Conservative blog. The other day, I found this article, and this article gives insight into why Ronald Reagan was such a popular president. It reminded me of an encounter I had a couple of years ago when I expressed admiration of Ronald Reagan to some classmates in one of my high school classes. I recall them expressing something along the lines of distaste for him, which both didn’t surprise me (as Ronald Reagan is considered a hero to conservatives) but also took me aback. Reading this article, it becomes clear that those classmates clearly didn’t understand this fabulous president and what his mission was as president of the United States and that people have been obscuring what Ronald Reagan truly stood for. I’m sure you’ll find the information in this article as interesting as I did. Enjoy!

The Resurrection of the Travel Ban

As we heard in the news this week, the Supreme Court has allowed most of President Trump’s travel ban to take effect, which it did last night. This is great news as it brings us one step closer to being able to control who comes into our country as any nation state should have the right to do and, perhaps more importantly right now, ensure that the people coming here are not going do us harm. I found a brief article on the Aussie Conservative blog that briefly summarizes what went down this week. Enjoy!

Supreme Court breathes new life into Trump’s travel ban

Maybe they should think about who they elect.

Anyone who is decently versed in Chicago politics knows that the reason Chicago is called The Windy City ain’t because it’s super windy there. The city hasn’t had a Republican mayor in ninety years, and the Democratic machine there is still active, so much so that I’m pretty sure it influences the surrounding counties, even neighboring Lake County across the state lines in Indiana (which is home to another machine in Gary, Indiana…they haven’t had a Republican mayor since the 1940’s). If you want some insight into this, compare a map of Illinois’s counties to a map of their congressional districts and keep these facts in mind: Chicago has about 3 million, and Illinois has about 13 million people. Eight of nineteen of their congressional districts include some part of Chicago, and to me, when I look at these maps,  it almost looks like there’s some gerrymandering. Maybe I’m over analyzing things, but things seem fishy to me.

Anyways, people in Chicago seem to be always complaining about something–the Chicago teachers complain about public school funding, they complain about murder rates and gun violence, etc. Well, the politicians of Cook County (which is essentially, Chicago) have decided to enact a sugary drink tax (read the article below for more details), and citizens have protested it, saying it’s too much (for those of you who aren’t aware, Chicago has taxes on many, many things…such that as that article says, it’s hard to remember what isn’t, and as my dad always likes to say, it’s taxation without representation). As I was reading that article and analyzing in light of what I know about Chicago, I realized that if Chicago has this much to complain about, maybe they should elect different representatives.

Here’s an 2016 electoral map of Illinois, which shows its counties. Notice which counties are red, which are blue, and what the popular vote totals are:

Here’s the map of the Congressional districts of Illinois.

Here’s a map of Indiana counties from our last presidential election…just for comparison. Notice the similarities:

Spotify is on the LGBTQ bandwagon.

Back in February, I finally gave in and got a Spotify, so I could get a playlist from a retreat I went on and because, admittedly, it’s easier to listen to songs I haven’t bought for my phone yet on there than listening to them from my YouTube video history. As I’ve said in many previous posts, the LGBTQ movement goes against what my religion teaches about the traditional family and also against what human biology teaches us about gender and sexuality, so I’ve never really bought into it. Since this movement seems to be all the rage these days, I wasn’t surprised when I saw this email appear in my inbox (apparently, June is their pride month):

Even though I don’t care for clothes shopping, this kind of makes me want to buy Dolce and Gabbana.

As the title of this post says, I’m not that much of a fashionista. If the outfit matches and is comfortable and I look all right, I don’t mind. But upon reading this article, I gained a little bit of respect for the two founders of Dolce and Gabbana, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabanna. First, they designed for First Lady Melania Trump’s outfits, even though the left would call that unfashionable. Additionally, although both of them are gay, at least one of them (Dolce, I believe), expressed support for the traditional family. Maybe one day (if I can ever afford their clothing), I should buy something from their company.

Here’s the article found on the NZ Conservative Coalition blog. Enjoy!

A Little History of the Vietnam Wall

This is another from a friend of my dad’s. I was astonished by all these facts presented, but I did make me grateful for those who served, so I’d like to take a brief moment to thank all those who served America in uniform, especially those who are veterans of the Vietnam War (since the memorial is the subject of this post). God bless you all!

All, please read below. Very solemn information

A Little History Of The Viet Nam Wall

*Interesting Veterans Statistics of the Vietnam Memorial Wall *

*There are 58,267 names now listed on that polished black wall, including
those added in 2010. *

*The names are arranged in the order in which they were taken from us by
date and within each date the names are alphabetized. It is hard to believe
it is 36 years since the last casualties. *

*The first known casualty was Richard B. Fitzgibbon, of North Weymouth ,
Mass. Listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as having been killed on
June 8, 1956. His name is listed on the Wall with that of his son, Marine
Corps Lance Cpl. Richard B. Fitzgibbon III, who was killed on Sept. 7,
1965. *

*There are three sets of fathers and sons on the Wall. *

*39,996 on the Wall were just 22 or younger. *

*8,283 were just 19 years old. *

*The largest age group, 33,103 were 18 years old. *

*12 soldiers on the Wall were 17 years old. *

*5 soldiers on the Wall were 16 years old. *

*One soldier, PFC Dan Bullock was 15 years old. *

*997 soldiers were killed on their first day in Vietnam .. *

*1,448 soldiers were killed on their last day in Vietnam .. *

*31 sets of brothers are on the Wall. *

*Thirty one sets of parents lost two of their sons. *

*54 soldiers attended Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia . I wonder
why so many from one school. *

*8 Women are on the Wall. Nursing the wounded. *

*244 soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War; 153
of them are on the Wall. *

*Beallsville**, **Ohio, with a population of 475, lost 6 of her sons.*

*West Virginia**had the highest casualty rate per capita in the nation.
There are 711 West Virginians on the Wall. *

*The Marines of Morenci – They led some of the scrappiest high school
football and basketball teams that the little Arizona copper town of
Morenci (pop. 5,058) had ever known and cheered. They enjoyed roaring beer
busts.  In quieter moments, they rode horses along the Coronado Trail,
stalked deer in the Apache National Forest .  And in the patriotic
camaraderie typical of Morenci’s mining families, the nine graduates of
Morenci High enlisted as a group in the Marine Corps.  Their service began
on Independence Day, 1966. Only 3 returned home. *

*The Buddies of Midvale – LeRoy Tafoya, Jimmy Martinez, Tom Gonzales were
all boyhood friends and lived on three consecutive streets in Midvale, Utah
on Fifth, Sixth and Seventh avenues. They lived only a few yards apart.
They played ball at the adjacent sandlot ball field. And they all went to
Vietnam . In a span of 16 dark days in late 1967, all three would be
killed.  LeRoy was killed on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the fourth anniversary of
John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Jimmy died less than 24 hours later on
Thanksgiving Day.  Tom was shot dead assaulting the enemy on Dec. 7, Pearl
Harbor Remembrance Day. *

*The most casualty deaths for a single day was on January 31, 1968 ~ 245
deaths. *

*The most casualty deaths for a single month was May 1968 – 2,415
casualties were incurred. *

*For most Americans who read this they will only see the numbers that the
Vietnam War created. To those who survived the war, and to the families of
those who did not, we see the faces, we feel the pain that these numbers
created. We are, until we too pass away, haunted with these numbers,
because they were our friends, fathers, husbands, wives, sons and
daughters. There are no noble wars, just noble warriors. *

*Please pass this on to those who served during this time, and those who DO
Care. *

I’ve also sent this to those I KNOW do care very much, and I thank you for
caring as you do.

“Easy Meat”: Britain’s Muslim Rape Gang Cover-Up

Another from a friend of my dad’s, and when I saw this video, I became glad that I live in America and in a part of America where the streets are relatively safe from no-go zones. I also feel glad that when I was in Spain, I didn’t encounter any of this–we were pretty safe, thank God. Although, considering that I have friend in Germany right now and a friend who will be in England this coming semester, I am worried for them. I suppose all I can also hope is that with President Trump in charge, none of this will spread to America. Enjoy!

This is rather alarming…..should our judges still rule against the travel bans…..perish the thought but maybe if one of their daughters were a victim it might shake them into reality since their decisions were politemotional not constitutional….God help us and these poor children in Britain…..

Muslim extremists have embedded themselves into the UK (among other Western European Countries). This is a preview of coming attractions of what we can expect here in America if they continue to target the US.

Obama’s Organizing for Action Group

This was sent to me by a friend of my dad’s, and the information it contains is not too surprising, considering what I’ve read about Obama, but this is kind of scary to think about. Enjoy!

You may have seen this already. I’m not sure of the author but the assay is right on the money regarding the intent and scope of the activity. I’m not convinced this was birthed  by ‘shit for brains’ BHO – it too closely resembles the nefarious activities of Soros, Steyer et al, the real puppet masters. This is all outside street level stuff; add to it the same type of disruptive despicable inside activity by Schumer and Pelosi and it’s obvious we’ve got our work cut out for us. And that doesn’t include the leverage of the media.

Subject: Obama’s Organizing for Action group

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have a former president, Barack Hussein Obama, setting up a group called “Organizing for Action” (OFA).

OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration’s top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for “progressive” change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president’s message from the shadows: “Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished. Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond.”

OFA’s website says it obtained its “digital” assets from the ex-president’s re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.”

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the mainstream media (nothing more than lobbyists for the Left) springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president’s signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Hussein Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.
