I saw in the news today that Fox News commentator Alan Colmes died. He was a part of the show Hannity and Colmes that I remember watching snippets of when I was a kid. He was Hannity’s (who’s conservative) polar opposite, but they were good friends…kind of like Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Even though he was a liberal, I will say that I will miss him. Compared to most other liberals in the media, he wasn’t too bad…’tis a shame I don’t remember his stuff as much. But anyways, I hope he rests in peace.
Another from a friend of my dad’s. I don’t know what fantasyland Californians seem to live in, but they might find themselves in less of a bind if they stepped into the real world. Enjoy!
Thank God this reporter spoke up and he’s from the LA Times no less. It’s got to be pretty bad when ‘one of their own’ takes to criticism!
Quote of the day by Dianne Feinstein . .
Dianne Feinstein: “All vets are mentally ill in some way and government should prevent them from owning firearms.” WOW!
Yep, – she really said it on Thursday in a meeting in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. . . And the quote below from the LA Times is priceless. Sometimes even the L.A. Times gets it right.
Kurt Nimmo: “Senator Feinstein insults all U.S. Veterans as she flails about in a vain attempt to save her anti-firearms bill.”
Quote of the Day from the Los Angeles Times:
“Frankly, I don’t know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I’m not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we’re Number One. There’s no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on ‘Macbeth ‘. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don’t know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words.”
Columnist Burt Prelutsky, Los Angeles Times
This article was sent to me by a friend of my dad’s. When you read this article, you get a sense of what we would save if our politicians didn’t force us to help illegal immigrants with our tax dollars. Enjoy, and please pass on!
Unfortunately, the left seems to think that non American citizens, particularly illegals or non-permanent residents, deserve the rights that the Constitution affords our citizens. For me, it’s simple. If you live in a country, you have (or at least are supposed to have) the protection of that country’s laws and the rights that country recognizes. So, for example, I am an American citizen; I get American rights and the protection of American law. I am not a dual citizen; therefore, I cannot expect rights from any other country. It should be that simple.
Anyways, I found this blog post by the Aussie Conservative about a pending Supreme Court decision. It’s very interesting. Thanks to the Aussie Conservative for finding this article!
This was sent to me by a friend of my dad’s. This is on point with how we should ideally help people. Enjoy, and pass on!
To pass on to your favorite lib millennials….
Subject: RE: $50.00 job
Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog. During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said she wanted to be President someday.
Both of her parents, Democratic Party members, were standing there so I asked her, “If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”
She replied… “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.” Her parents beamed with pride!
“Wow…what a worthy goal!” I said…”But you don’t have to wait until you’re President to do that!”
“What do you mean?” she replied.
So I told her, “You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge,
and I’ll pay you $50. Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.”
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked,
“Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?”
I said, “Welcome to the Republican Party.”
Her parents aren’t speaking to me anymore.
If you know any Republicans that would get a chuckle out of this, share it with them.
Most Democrats will just delete it, I guess the logic escapes them
I believe I saw this on Facebook. This is so true, as a college student. Enjoy!

I found this article on Facebook. The ridiculousness of the university’s notion presented in the article makes me laugh. I am curious as to why the university would even think that grammar is racist. I mean, seriously…do liberals have to see racism everywhere…especially where white people are concerned? Like I said, it’s ridiculous to me. Racism isn’t everywhere. In the case of America, not every white person is racist, and to claim so is making an invalid assumption.
Anyways, here’s the article:
Here’s the University of Washington-Tacoma’s page on this ridiculous initiative, in case anyone is interested:
